Proud roasters of quality coffee
Who we are
Golden Ground Coffee is a Johannesburg-born brand with a passion for flavour, transparency, and community. We’re proudly local and quality-obsessed—crafting coffee that celebrates the culture and creativity of South Africa.

Roasted for your home cafe
What we do
We roast 100% Arabica coffee in small batches using a clean air-roasting method that brings out bold, balanced flavour. Our batches are medium roasted to highlight the unique character of African single-origin coffees, with beans sourced from Ethiopia, Uganda, Rwanda, and Tanzania.
Every bag is freshly roasted and available in a range of grinds and sizes to suit your setup — whether you're pulling espresso, plunging French press, or just getting started with your home café.
Choose your grind, pick your bag size, and enjoy coffee that’s roasted to match your ritual.

Creating a coffee culture
Why we roast
Golden Ground was never just about roasting great beans. it’s about creating a culture around coffee that values curiosity, connection, and craftsmanship.
We believe coffee should be more than a morning habit. It’s a ritual, a conversation starter, a reason to slow down and pay attention.
Through education, storytelling, and intentional sourcing, we aim to inspire a deeper appreciation for the people and processes behind every cup.

Sustainability is where our focus truly lies.
We make a concerted effort to align ourselves with importers who support the development of coffee communities where we source our beans, namely Tanzania, Ethiopia, Uganda and Rwanda.
Our goal is to ensure our collaborations remain South African and we're working towards becoming our own producer of coffee.
Our packaging is equally sustainable and environmentally friendly.
