what we do
Grounded in the coffee origin
We source and roast single origin speciality coffee, selecting beans from specific coffee-growing regions known for producing distinctive, high-grade crops.
Every batch is air roasted to a medium profile using a hand-crafted recipe to fully develop the bean’s true flavour. Whether brewed as whole beans or ground, this approach brings out its unique characteristics across different brewing methods, from moka pot to espresso.
We release our coffee in limited drops, giving you access to beans at their freshest. This approach also allows us to involve our community in the process, from feedback on flavour profiles to input on future origins.
Ultimately, our focus is simple: freshness, clarity of flavour, and a better everyday coffee experience.

Golden Ground Coffee began with a focus on mastering our craft, developing a roasting method that brings out the best in every single-origin bean. Today, it has grown into something bigger. We roast single origin speciality coffee to build a community around it — one that connects people, sparks conversation, and celebrates the ritual of coffee.

Sustainability is where our focus truly lies.
We make a concerted effort to align ourselves with importers who support the development of coffee communities where we source our beans, namely Tanzania, Ethiopia, Uganda and Rwanda.
Our goal is to ensure our collaborations remain South African and we're working towards becoming our own producer of coffee.
Our packaging is equally sustainable and environmentally friendly.
